Who we are
Logic NHD ("we," "us") provides California Natural Hazard Disclosure (NHD) reports for real estate transactions. This policy covers our website at www.logicnhd.com, our ordering portal at order.logicnhd.com, and our member tools at www.logicnhd.com/members (together, the "Services"). Our office is at 7979 Ivanhoe Ave #350, La Jolla, CA 92037.
What we collect
When you visit our website
Every visit sends our servers standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page that linked you here, and the time. Cloudflare, which hosts and protects our site, uses it to deliver pages and block attacks and abuse, and we keep short-lived logs to fix problems.
We don't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on www.logicnhd.com. Our pages use fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number and message, and we use it to help you.
When you order a report
Reports are ordered on our portal at order.logicnhd.com, which is run for us by our report-platform provider. To prepare, deliver, bill for and support your order, we and that provider collect information such as your name, company, email address and phone number; the property address or parcel number; transaction details, such as an escrow number and the names of the parties; and payment details. Payments are handled by the portal's payment processor. The portal uses its own cookies to keep you signed in. The portal also tells us when an order is placed and delivered (the order and report number, product, status, dates and the email you ordered with) so we can add order credits to your member account; we don't keep the property address or the report from these notices.
When you use member tools
Signing in. Member tools ask you to sign in with Google. Google then shares your name, email address, profile photo and an account ID with us. We use your name, verified email address and account ID to sign you in, apply usage limits and decide who has member access, which in the future may include matching your email address to orders placed on the portal. We don't use your photo, and we never receive your Google password or access to your email, contacts, files or anything else in your Google account.
Your member account and activity log. We keep a record of your member account: your name, email address and Google account ID, when you first and last used the tools, and how many comment pulls you've used. We also keep an activity log. Each time you sign in or out, open a member tool, run a comment pull or download a list, we record the time, your name and email address, and what you opened or did. We use this to run the tools, apply limits, keep the tools secure and understand how they're used.
Contact Cleanup and Social Connection Finder. These tools run entirely in your web browser. The contact files and social-media data exports you add are processed on your own device, and our site tells your browser to block these pages from sending data anywhere. We never receive, see or store your files or your results. What you download is saved only to your device. (Our activity log records only that you opened the tool.)
Comment Follow-Up. You give us the link or handle of an Instagram profile, Facebook Page or TikTok profile and confirm that it's your own or one you manage. We then:
- retrieve the public comments on its most recent posts through a third-party data service, without logging in to any social-media account;
- build your follow-up list and keep it for 24 hours so you can download it again, then delete it automatically (we also tell the data service to delete its copy as soon as your list is ready);
- keep a record of your confirmation: the date and time, the profile link, the confirmation wording, your account (your email address and Google account ID, or a random browser ID if you weren't signed in), the outcome of the request, your browser type, and a scrambled (one-way hashed) form of your IP address; and
- record the credits each pull uses in your account's credit history.
If you use the tool without signing in, we may ask you to complete a Cloudflare Turnstile check to show you're a person. Cloudflare processes information about your browser and device to run that check.
Credits and payments. We keep a history of your credits: welcome credits, credits earned from report orders (matched to your account by the email address you ordered with), credits you buy, and credits you use. When you buy credits, you pay on Stripe's checkout page. Stripe receives your payment details and email address and tells us the payment succeeded and its amount; we never receive your full card number.
Contact Insights. When you choose contacts to look up, we send only what the lookup needs (their phone number, address, and the name and company you saved) to our lookup partners: Trestle (who a phone number or address is registered to, age range, current address, line type), Twilio (line type, carrier and caller ID) and Brave (a web search on the name). The results come back to your browser and we don't store them; the activity log records only how many contacts you looked up and the credits used. The hints shown for free are worked out in your browser and aren't sent anywhere.
People members look up
When a member uses Contact Insights on someone in their contacts, that person's phone number, address and name are sent to the lookup partners named above, which return what their records show. We pass the results to the member and don't keep them, and our Terms of Use allow members to use them only to recognize and follow up with their own contacts. If you have a question about a lookup, email support@logicnhd.com.
People who comment on members' posts
Comment Follow-Up processes comments that people have posted publicly on a member's own social-media profile. For each comment, we may receive what the platform shows publicly: the commenter's display name, username and profile link, the comment's text and date, and links to the comment and the post.
We use this only to build that member's follow-up list. We don't combine it with other information, build profiles of commenters, sell it or use it for any other purpose, and we delete it from our systems within 24 hours. Members can download their list. Our Terms of Use allow them to use it only to follow up personally with the people who commented, never for automated or bulk messages or to add anyone to a marketing list.
If you have a question about a list that may have included your comment, email support@logicnhd.com. Because lists are deleted after 24 hours, we usually no longer hold any of your comment data by the time you write.
How we use information

We don't share personal information with other companies for their own marketing.

California residents
California law gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and to ask us to correct or delete it. We don't sell or share personal information, so there's nothing to opt out of, and we treat Global Privacy Control signals the same way. We won't treat you differently for using your privacy rights. You can make a request yourself, or through an authorized agent, by emailing support@logicnhd.com or calling 858-413-7578.
Under California's "Shine the Light" law, you can ask whether we've shared personal information with other companies for their direct marketing. We don't.
Do Not Track: we don't track visitors across other websites, and we don't knowingly let other companies collect information about your activity across websites through ours. So we treat all browsers the same, whether or not they send a Do Not Track signal.
Security
We protect information with HTTPS encryption, signed and secure cookies, and access controls on our accounts and providers, and by not collecting or keeping data we don't need. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If you think your account or information has been compromised, contact us right away.
Logic NHD is based in the United States, and the Services are meant for people in the United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
